The National Center and State Collaborative (NCSC) is one of five consortia funded to develop assessments related to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS): two are regular assessment consortia; two are alternate assessment consortia (including NCSC); and one consortia is developing an English language proficiency assessment. This presentation (PDF) gives viewers a brief overview of how students with disabilities are included in the CCSS as well as an introduction to the five consortia.
